Phone calls costed me an absolute fortune, and i got responses every 2 weeks saying it’s been escalated. They’ve been sent confirmation, invoices etc. This was over 3 months ago. Algotels is a fraudulent web site and should be closed down.
Also barclays should be censured because they are enabling algotels to keep scamming people. As my credit card company, that i have been with for years, i find it despicable that barclays has sided with algotels against me in this problem, i have been scammed out of close to $1000 and How i wish i had. After this horrible experience, i’m convinced the safest way to book a hotel is directly through that hotel.

I include this because i only got it when i was well into the process. My experience with algotels closely resembles the story in lb's review. I reserved a hotel room with algotels and found they added almost $342 for taxes and fees which they did not specify, even after repeated requests. They responded to a credit card dispute simply by noting that i had agreed to the terms and conditions.

However after reading reviews i emailed algotels to check and they never got back to me.

They booked me at the wrong hotel and never gave refund. I have a receipt showing motel 6, which is what i wanted, but they booked me at the econolodge which was in a different area of the city and not where i needed to be.
